How do I choose the right labels for my printer?

Tell us your printer model, print method (direct thermal or with a ribbon) and label size, and we will work out the right material, core diameter and winding direction with you.

Should I use direct thermal or thermal transfer?

For shipping and other short-life labels, ribbon-free direct thermal is the economical choice. For labels that must stay legible for a long time and withstand heat and abrasion, thermal transfer printed with a ribbon is preferred.

Do you have sizes that ship right away from stock?

Yes, common barcode and thermal label sizes are available from stock and can be ordered from our online shop. Other sizes are made to order.

Can I buy ribbons together with blank labels?

Yes. We recommend and supply wax, wax/resin or resin ribbons to match your label material.
