Opaque PP Labels
Polypropylene film keeps its form under contact with water, oil and chemicals that paper labels cannot withstand, which is why it is often chosen for cosmetics, cleaning products, chemical drums and outdoor applications. Its flexibility helps it conform well to plastic bottles and containers. The opaque white base gives vivid results in color printing and covers the color of the packaging underneath.
Blank opaque PP rolls are printed on thermal transfer printers with a wax/resin or resin ribbon; printed jobs use flexo or digital printing, with lamination where needed. Permanent adhesive is the standard option; for squeezable tubes and curved bottles, we can recommend a different adhesive to suit the packaging.
