Thermal Transfer Labels
On these labels, the image is formed when ribbon ink heated by the print head transfers to the label face; the label face itself is not heat-sensitive. Faces such as coated paper, matte paper, opaque PP, clear PP and silver matte can be printed this way, so a single printer can meet different needs for product, shelf, carton, pallet and asset labels.
For the right result, the ribbon type must match the face: wax is usually chosen for paper faces, and wax/resin or resin ribbon for synthetic faces. Rolls are prepared on Ø40 or Ø76 mm cores, wound in or out to suit your printer. Standard thermal transfer sizes are listed in our online shop; for other sizes, you can request a quote with the size and quantity.
