Transparent Labels
Also known as the no-label look, this finish is especially popular for cosmetic, beverage and specialty food packaging. Clear PP film resists water and moisture; to keep the print legible on the clear base, a white underprint is recommended in the design. The adhesive must also be clear, otherwise the label edges will show on the packaging.
A thin, flexible film helps the label follow the curve of a bottle, and a smooth application surface reduces the risk of air bubbles. Printing can be flexo or digital, and varnish or foil can be added to the surface.
